Equi-Clic Data Protection Policy
This personal data protection policy (below: the "Policy") describes the commitment of Equi-Clic 1 impasse des Photinias 44300 Nantes RCS Nantes 800 633 323 - VAT number: FR46800633323 with a capital of 6000€ ("Equi-Clic"), as the data controller with regard to respect for the privacy and protection of the personal data of its users.
This Personal Data Protection Policy (the "Policy") has been drafted to enable you to become aware of the practices and conditions under which Equi-Clic collects, uses and stores your personal data (hereinafter: the "Data").

  • Your email address will necessarily be asked if you wish to create a user account, communicate with us via contact forms and/or receive our Newsletter ;

  • Order Data: Your postal address is required to issue invoices and to ensure delivery. In the same way, your bank details or PayPal will have to be filled in to proceed to the payment of your order;

In addition, as part of our activity, and for external processing needs, your Data may be communicated to subcontractors, service providers or other third parties, and in particular :
  • For managing communications resulting from the live chat tool. The exchanges which intervene between you and Equi-Clic are carried out thanks to the tool published by the company Zendesk, 266 Place Ernest Granier, 34000 Montpellier. This tool allows Equi-Clic to answer directly the questions of its users.
  • For the management of communications resulting from email exchanges or the use of the contact form. The exchanges which intervene between you and Equi-Clic can be carried out thanks to the tool Gmail published by the company Google.
  • For payment management. In order to facilitate the experience of its users, Equi-Clic offers the following payment methods to make purchases on the Site:
- Online payment by credit card (Carte Bleue, Visa, Eurocard / Mastercard) with Crédit Agricole's e-Transaction solution;
- Payment by PayPal;
- Payment by bank transfer.
- Payment by bank check.
Payments are made by our partners (Crédit Agricole, PayPal).
Equi-Clic does not have access to your identifiers and credit card numbers.
All transactions are secured using SSL encryption, guaranteeing both the identity of the payment organization and the confidentiality of data.
  • For shipping your order. Your delivery address, your e-mail and your telephone number are communicated to our logistics partner Cosphalog in order to edit the labels for the parcels. This information is also transmitted to the partner you have chosen in charge of the delivery of your order. They may be TNT, GLS, La Poste (Colissimo), Mondial Relay or Heppner.
All subcontractors, service providers, Partners or other third parties mentioned above are obliged by contractual obligations to respect confidentiality and data protection and to treat them only for the purposes for which we transmit them.
Your Data may be transferred to any purchaser or other successor in the event of a merger, assignment, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of Equi-Clic's assets due to uncertainties or bankruptcy, liquidation or other processes in which Equi-Clic's User Data from different Equi-Clic sites are among the transferred assets.
Finally, we may also disclose your Data:
to comply with any legal mandate, law or process, including governmental and regulatory requests;
if we believe that disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect Equi-Clic's rights, property or safety,
its clients or other stakeholders.
Such disclosure includes the exchange of information with other companies and organisations for the purpose of protection against fraud and counterfeiting.

5. HOW LONG IS YOUR DATA KEPT?
Equi-Clic keeps your Data only for the time necessary for the purposes set out in Article 3.
This conservation period is not the same according to the Data in question, the nature and purpose of the collection being likely to vary this period. Similarly, certain legal obligations impose a specific retention period.
When you subscribe to the Newsletter, we keep your email address until you unsubscribe.
When you contact Equi-Clic through the various contact forms or communicate with us by phone or via live chat, your data will be kept for up to five (5) years from the last contact.
With respect to your user account, your billing information is retained for ten (10) years from the date of purchase. The remainder of your data will be retained for five (5) years from your request to deactivate your user account. When you request it, your Site user account will be deactivated and then totally deleted at the end of the aforementioned periods from the day you made the request.
Finally, as regards Data collected by means of cookies or tracers, they will be kept for up to six (6) months for cookies or tracers measuring the audience and up to thirteen (13) months for the others.
Beyond the retention periods mentioned above, your Data will be anonymised to be kept exclusively for statistical purposes.
6. HOW IS YOUR DATA PROTECTED?
Your Data is stored on secure servers.

8. DOES EQUI-CLIC TRANSFER MY DATA OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION?
The Data collected within the framework of the use of our Site are hosted by the company OVH - 2 rue Kellermann - 59100 Roubaix - France on a server located on the territory of the European Union in Gravelines, France.

Data collected when using the contact form is transferred to Google's data center network. Google manages a number of geographically distributed data centers. Google's IT clusters are designed with resilience and redundancy in mind, to correct all individual points of failure and reduce the impact of common hardware failures and environmental risks.
Your Data may therefore be transferred outside the European Union to the United States for hosting purposes. By using the Site, you therefore agree that your Data may be transferred to these servers.
